The Confined Space Safety course is designed to provide participants with essential knowledge and practical skills to safely work in confined spaces where there is a risk of hazardous atmospheres, restricted entry or exit, and limited ventilation. The course focuses on hazard identification, safe entry procedures, and emergency response to prevent serious injuries and fatalities.
The course is structured as a single-level program focusing on confined space safety procedures and compliance:
Foundation Level:
Introduction to confined spaces, types and classifications, hazards associated with confined spaces, and basic safety requirements.
Advanced Application:
Covers confined space entry procedures, atmospheric testing, ventilation, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), permit-to-work integration, and emergency rescue planning.
